Privacy Policy

Udyogam is run by TODO_YOUR_FULL_NAME, an individual operating as Udyogam from TODO_CITY, TODO_STATE, India. It is an independently operated service, not a company. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the service, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. It applies to the Udyogam website and dashboard.

• Account data — your name, email address and profile photo, received from Google when you sign in. We never receive or store your Google password.
• Resume and career data — the resume content you upload or enter, your job preferences, and the tailored resume versions the service generates for you.
• Usage data — jobs you view or save, tailorings consumed, tailoring history and support tickets you raise.
• Payment data — your billing plan, subscription status and payment references. Card numbers, UPI IDs and bank details are entered directly with our payment processor and are never sent to or stored on our servers.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics.

• To provide the core service: tailoring your resume to a job, scoring how well it matches, and showing you relevant roles.
• To operate your account, apply your usage allowance, and process subscriptions and renewals.
• To respond to support requests.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and debug problems.
• To comply with tax, accounting and other legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your resume with recruiters or employers, and we do not apply to jobs on your behalf without your action.

When you tailor a resume, the relevant parts of your resume and the job description are sent to our AI provider (Google, via the Gemini API) to generate the tailored version and the match score. This is processing carried out on our instruction to deliver the feature you asked for.

The AI is instructed to rewrite and reframe only what is already in your resume. It is not permitted to invent experience, employers or qualifications you do not have.

We share the minimum necessary data with service providers who help us run Udyogam:

• Our payment processor — payment processing, subscriptions and refunds.
• Google — sign-in, and AI processing via the Gemini API.
• Cloudinary — storage of files and images you upload.
• Hosting and database providers — to run the application and store your account data.
• Job data sources — we retrieve job listings from third-party providers. Your personal data is not sent to them.

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in will not work without the necessary ones.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your resumes, tailoring history and preferences. We retain payment and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting law requires, even after account deletion.

You can ask us to:

• Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct data that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your account and the personal data attached to it
• Stop using your data for a particular purpose

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on managed infrastructure with access restricted to the people who need it. Payment credentials never touch our systems. No online service can promise perfect security, but if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority promptly.

Udyogam is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app.

Udyogam is run by one person, so complaints come straight to TODO_YOUR_FULL_NAME at polakisaikiran1@gmail.com, TODO_STREET_ADDRESS, TODO_CITY, TODO_STATE TODO_PIN, India. If you are not satisfied with how a complaint was handled, you may escalate it to the consumer forum with jurisdiction over your location.
